Kevin Amick

Coach Amick is in his seventh season as Head Coach and eighth overall season with the Warriors Softball program. He led the Warriors to a 79-86 record during his tenure, including the 2013 California Pacific Conference Championship. In his five seasons as a coach for the Warriors, he has coached 27 All-Conference players, 3 CAL-PAC Players of the Year, 1 GSAC All-Conference player,  2 Cal Pac Pitchers of the Year and two NAIA All-Americans.

He has had a very successful coaching career over the past 30 years. His interest for coaching started in the baseball world where he coached in the Little League 13-15-year-old division for his first 10 years. After playing Men's Fastpitch Softball for eight years, and having two daughters that were interested in playing softball, his path led straight to coaching the next 20 years in softball programs. During these years, Kevin coached for a couple of established Amateur Softball Association travel teams. However, his proudest moments were the six years he spent with his own ASA program, organizing and head coaching two travel teams "Roseville Slammers" built from the ground up. The girls on these teams learned to have team respect, unity, and an enthusiasm and love for the game that helped send teams to regional and national tournaments.

Kevin is a lifelong resident in Roseville, where he lives with his wife Karen and their two daughters Janeel and Danielle. He is very excited about the opportunity to help build the best program possible at William Jessup University.
