ROCKLIN, Calif. – The Warriors (16-27, 8-14) faced off with San Diego Christian College (33-16, 11-9) in the Golden State Athletic Conference tournament, with both teams in a must win situation to continue their season, the Hawks would capture the victory 5-0.
There was only one inning of run production in the defensively centered game and that came in the top of the third inning. The Hawks from Southern California scored their five runs taking advantage of Jessup's only missteps of the game as the Warriors committed four defensive errors in the inning.
Both teams struggled, in general to get on base during the contest. San Diego recorded only seven hits, two of them occurring in the top of the third inning. Jessup left the game with four hits led by junior Kayla Cisneros () who had two hits in three attempts.
Jessica Myers was credited the loss in the game pitching 2.2 innings and allowing five runs, one earned, on five hits and striking out one. San Diego's Kendra Kuper received the win after pitching six innings, allowing no runs on four hits and striking out eight.
