Rising to the Challenge: Jessup Women’s Golf Gears Up for the PacWest

Veteran Leadership and Dynamic Recruits Fuel the Warriors’ NCAA DII Journey

09/13/26

ROCKLIN, Calif. — As Jessup University Women's Golf prepares to make strides in NCAA Division II and the PacWest Conference, the Warriors enter the new campaign with a balanced roster anchored by veteran leadership and an energetic group of incoming talent. Led by Head Coach Seth Heppner, Jessup enters the season primed to build a culture rooted in growth and competitive excellence.

The upcoming schedule presents a test against competitive fields across the West Region. The fall slate kicks off at the RJGA Women's Shootout at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona, followed by a trip to South Jordan, Utah, for the Wasatch Invitational at Glenmoor Golf Club. Autumn action rounds out with Northern and Central California stops at the Westmont Invitational at Sandpiper Golf Course in Goleta and the East Bay Fall Invitational at Stonebrae Country Club.

When the action resumes in the spring, the Warriors hit the road for the LA Spring Kickoff at Glendora Country Club before testing their game at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout at Chuck Corica Golf Complex and The Big Freeze at Richmond Golf Club. The regular-season run concludes back in Arizona with two prominent events—the 10th Annual Desert Invitational and the RJGA Women's Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear—setting the stage for the PacWest Conference Women's Golf Championship in Las Vegas.

The Warriors are welcomed by a core group of returners, including standout Julianne Canda, Isabella Dowd, Ayasha Phillips, Priscilla Padilla and Natalie Ang. Their collective tournament experience and familiar presence in the lineup provide critical stability as Jessup navigates demanding fields throughout the year.

Adding fresh energy to the mix is a promising incoming class featuring newcomers Ally Bettencourt, Pippa Cooper, Emma Leingang and Callie Mcloughlin. The arrival of these new student-athletes creates healthy depth and competition within the lineup, giving Coach Heppner plenty of versatile options to deploy on tournament weekends.

The Warriors will tee-off the season tomorrow with hopes for a strong fall to set the foundation for the spring and eyes set on a top finish at the PacWest Championships in April.
