The William Jessup volleyball team played in the second game of their two-game road trip in Arizona taking on Arizona Christian University Saturday afternoon. The Warriors were unable to come away with a win losing in straight sets to the Firestorm, 25-13, 25-20, and 25-17.
In the first set, the Warriors were unable to hold a lead as they trailed for the duration of the set and lost 25-13.
The second set was close throughout as it was tied 12 different times. When it looked like the Warriors were down and out trailing 13-19, a kill from
Taylor Tarble would spark a 6-0 scoring run as the game was again tied 19-19. Ultimately the Warriors would only go on to score one more point in the set as they lost 25-20.
In the third set, the Warriors were down early and struggled to get into a groove. Jessup would string together a pair of scoring spurts but would drop the set 25-17.

Michaela Zapata had 5. In consecutive games,
Alicia Borges recorded two aces bringing her season total to 38, fifth overall in the conference.
