Men's basketball heading back to GSAC Tournament tomorrow

The Warriors finished conference play as the GSAC's 5th seed and will face 4th seed Arizona Christian Thursday night.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The GSAC Tournament has become a frequent destination for the men's basketball team as they've made the postseason for the sixth consecutive year.

The tournament begins Thursday, March 5 and the Warriors will be looking to grab a few more signature wins in hopes of making the national tournament.

The fifth-seeded Warriors (18-12, 10-8) will face off with fourth-seeded Arizona Christian who were 22-8 overall and 12-6 in GSAC play. The game will tip-off at 7:45 p.m. from Murchison Gym in Santa Barbara, home to regular-season champ Westmont.

The 2020 season has been another success as they've received national recognition being ranked in the top-25 for one poll and receiving votes in two other polls to close out the regular season.

The Warriors earned one player of the week award, two All-GSAC selections, and won over 18 games for the fifth consecutive year.

Arizona Christian comes into Thursday night's matchup with Jessup with a 2-0 record over the Warriors as they were ranked as high as 10th in the nation this season and are currently ranked No. 19.

The Warriors have been led all season offensively by their senior backcourt of Isaiah Milan and Luis Medearis as well as junior forward Austin Dill who's in the top three on the team in points, rebounds, and field goal percentage.
