TURLOCK, Calif. – The Warriors were in action Friday afternoon, taking on Stanislaus State from Turlock. Beginning another road trip, the Warriors start on the losing end as Stanislaus took the match 7-0.
Doubles action saw Stanislaus State take the point after back-to-back 6-1 victories.
Jessica Holbea teamed up with
Nicollet Alexander in the first position, followed by
Aysha Hayes and
Danielle Akabane in the second position.
Stephanie Alsman and
Isabelle Rietz saw their doubles contest end tied 3-3 after the doubles point had been secured.
Alsman would force her match to a third set after taking the second set 6-4, but she fell in the finale 10-3. Stanislaus swept singles play 5-0.
Jessup will be back in action tomorrow when they resume the GSAC season in Santa Barbara. The women's match with Westmont will begin at 1 p.m., while the Jessup men will hit the court before at 11 a.m.
