ROCKLIN, Calif. – Jessup was in action on their home turf Tuesday, squaring off with Simpson in what was Jessup's first home match of the season. At the end of 90 minutes, the scoreboard looked the same as when the match started, as Jessup battled their way to a draw.
Tuesday's draw was Jessup's first of the season as they move to 0-2-1.

Amsalu Fantahun made a change at goalkeeper for this one, turning to
Lilliana Fenn to defend the net. Playing all 90 minutes, Fenn recorded six saves as the freshman out of Fairfield earns the first shutout of her collegiate career,
Jessup failed to get a shot on goal in the first half, but they had their chances.
Kye Johnson registered three first-half shots, one narrowly missing as it tipped off the post and out of play for a goal kick.
Kaylee Gillespie had Jessup's other first-half attempt, while Simpson led the shot count 8-4.
Simpson would lead the shot count 12-9 at the end of regulation as six of them went on frame to Jessup's one.
Now, the Warriors will hit the road again, this time for a trip to the Bay Area as they take on Academy of Art on Thursday. This will become a regular trip moving forward as Academy of Art calls the Pac West home, a conference the Warriors will be joining in 2024.
Jessup will then return home to play Warner Pacific on Saturday at noon.
