The Warriors finished first out of the three-team field, which included fellow PacWest school Dominican. Cal Maritime was the third university in the field.

Devon Hammeke finished in the top five on Saturday, as the duo posted times of 28:36 and 29:40, respectively. The full results from the race can be viewed

Diego Montag of Dominican finished first in the field at 26:36, earning himself PacWest Runner of the Week.
Jessup University is now a full month into their first season competing at the NCAA Division II level. Cross Country has competed three times, with Saturday being their first and only race on their home course. The Warriors also ran in Fresno and Ceres earlier in the season.
The Warriors will be back in action in two weeks when they take part in the San Francisco State Invitational at Golden Gate Park. That will be one of two races remaining before the PacWest Championship on October 26 from Irvine.
