ROCKLIN, Calif. - Jessup Cross Country hosted their annual home meet on the Rocklin campus, and the program was represented very well on both sides. 

For the second year in a row, the women's 6K title was claimed by Angela Gladysh, who won the event for a second consecutive year and logged a time of 23:24.9, winning the race by over a minute. Gladysh's win was just the beginning of the women's successes this day, as she was followed by two more Warriors in Juliet David and Mel Peterson, who finished second and third, respectively. These top-three finishes were crucial in leading the women to a team win over Dominican in the event, claiming their first first-place finish of the season. Also racing for the Warriors were Jordan Bick (28:35.9) and Hope Garten (41:29.3).
    
Over on the men's side, two top-five finishers headlined the day for the Warriors. Ryden Rivera and Finnegan Cunningham continued their impressive freshman campaigns with fourth and fifth place finishes, respectively. Rivera finished with a time of 29:12.8 in the men's 8K, while Cunningham crossed the finish line in 29:40.1. Another notable finisher was Antonio Leal, who broke the top ten and finished in ninth place with his time of 31:35.0. Other racers for the men's team were Travis Brown (32:18.3), and Oscar Duncan (38:18.5).
    
Following the excitement of the home meet, the Warriors will have a short week before heading south to Lodi for the Pacific Invitational next Friday, October 2.
