TURLOCK, Calif. – Women's Tennis was in action on Friday, as the Warriors made the drive to Turlock to take on another set of Warriors in Stanislaus State. The match went in favor of the home side, as Jessup leaves following a 7-0 defeat.
Jessup is now 2-10 on the season, as the final week of the regular season approaches.
Stanislaus State swept the board in singles action, winning all six bouts to claim six points on the board. The one point for doubles went to Stanislaus after victories in the second and third position. The first position math of
Jessica Holbea and
Annika Rojas ended in a 3-3 draw, as Stanislaus had already secured the point.
The Warriors were scheduled to play their final home match of the season tomorrow against Menlo, but expected rain caused the teams to postpone the contest. They will now meet on April 19 from Atherton.
Following that trip to Menlo, Jessup will visit UC Santa Cruz for the finale of the 2024 regular season.
