FRESNO, Calif. – A one-game trip away from Warrior Arena saw Jessup take on the Sunbirds of Fresno Pacific on Thursday night. On a night where FPU led from start to finish, the Warriors return to Rocklin following a 77-55 defeat.

Jessup now sits 4-8 in conference action, with their overall record moving to 7-11. The Warriors continue in their search for their first victory outside of Rocklin, as they are now winless in nine attempts.

Sophomore
Anthony Enoh led Jessup's scoring efforts on Thursday, doing so with 14 points on 5-of-14 from the field. Enoh also led the Warriors in rebounding with eight.

Guard
Ja'Maris Blackmon finished behind Enoh with 12 points and added three rebounds to his performance.

The Sunbirds outscored the Warriors 41-27 in the opening half, thanks to a 58 percent performance from the field. They followed it up by shooting 44 percent in the second half, giving FPU an even 50 percent (29-for-58) performance on the night.

Jessup finished the evening connecting on 35 percent of their attempts from the field.

FPU was led in scoring by Isaac Peralta with 15 points in 26 minutes off the bench. Harrison Pennisi added 11.

The next contest for the Warriors will be a special one for the program, as coming to town is Point Loma, led by head coach Justin Downer. Downer, a 2015 graduate of Jessup, spent two seasons on the Warriors under former head coach
Lance Von Vogt.
