ROCKLIN, Calif. - The calendar is bursting with events as Warriors Athletics enters an action-filled week. Kicking off the week on Tuesday, Women's soccer visits Fresno Pacific for a non-conference tune up. After Tuesday, women's soccer will only play PacWest Conference opponents for the rest of the 2025 season. Men's soccer follows on Wednesday as they too compete at Fresno Pacific before returning home. On Friday, Women's volleyball continues their PacWest Conference schedule as they make the trip down to Southern California to face off against Biola University. The week closes out with four sports on Saturday with both men's and women's soccer home against Dominican University for a conference matchup. Women's volleyball will be on the road at Concordia University while both cross country teams will be at the Bronco Invitational in Sunnyvale, CA.
Women's Soccer
The Warriors will travel to Fresno for a midweek nonconference matchup against Fresno Pacific before returning home to Warrior Field for a weekend contest against the Penguins of Dominican (CA). Following a hard fought match against Concordia, where an early goal for the Golden Eagles would prove to be the difference, the Warriors will look to turn their strong defense into victories. The Sunbirds took last season's matchup off two second half goals and, despite a goal from Abella Waterman, Dominican (CA) also came out on top in the previous match up. Fresno Pacific enters this matchup following a loss to Westmont and the Penguins will be riding a victory over Menlo.
Men's Soccer
Also travelling to Fresno will be the Men's Soccer team as they will take on the Sunbirds for a nonconference matchup before a weekend home matchup against Dominican (CA). After two late goals secured the victory for the Golden Eagles of Concordia, the Warriors will be looking to secure their first point in October. Last season's road matches against both the Sunbirds and the Penguins both resulted in losses for the Warriors. Fresno Pacific will come into this matchup after a loss against Westmont while Dominican (CA) enters after a week off.
Women's Volleyball
The Warriors will be on the road in Southern California this weekend, first facing off against Biola before wrapping up the trip against Concordia. Last week, Jessup defeated Dominican (CA) in dominating fashion before falling to Fresno Pacific. Last season's lone match against Biola came on Senior Day when the Warriors fell 2-3 despite a closely contested matchup. Against Concordia, Jessup bounced back from a disappointing first set to take the match in 5 sets. Biola went undefeated on their Hawaii trip, defeating both Hawai'i Pacific and Chaminade, and Concordia defeated Westmont at home.
Cross Country
The Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will be back in action Saturday morning at the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University. The field of runners will be represented by colleges and universities at each collegiate level. This will be the final race of the Warriors' regular season before postseason races begin.
Men's Golf
The Men's Golf Team wrapped up their fall season in their dual against Dominican (CA) at the Grapevine Ryder Cup. It was closely contested, with Paolo Castaneda and Braden Armstrong winning their respective matchups while Nicholas Schultz and Nick Chavarin earned half points through ties, but the Penguins ended up taking the matchup with a score of 4-3. The Warriors will continue their season in February.
Women's Golf
The Women's Team was also in action in their dual against Dominican (CA). Despite Sharon McFarland and Julianne Canda both securing points for Jessup, with McFarland winning her matchup and Canda tying, the Warriors fell to Dominican. Jessup will have the next two weeks off before their final fall tournament at the East Bay Fall Invitational.
