ROCKLIN, Calif. - Jessup STUNT is eager to launch the 2026 season on February 14th.
For the month of February, the team hits the road and goes down the coast for their first official competition. On Valentine's Day, the team travels to Vanguard University and takes on Cal Poly on February 14th. Later that day, the Warriors meet their first conference opponent with a meeting against Vanguard University.
Jessup then flies to the southwest to compete against Texas Woman's University for February 19th. That week the Warriors compete in the Dallas Baptist University Tournament from February 20th-21st. There, the team will take on Oklahoma Baptists University, Dallas Baptist University, University of Texas and Oklahoma State University.
The Warriors come back home for March 5th-7th as they host the Warrior Classic. Jessup welcomes Northwest Nazarene University on the first day of competition. Then the team competes against Concordia, Vanguard, University of Kentucky and then Fresno Pacific University. All of the events except for the University of Kentucky will be conference meetings for the Warriors.
The team heads back on the road for The Joust Tournament held by California Baptists University. Jessup will take on Arizona State University and Hawaii Pacific University on the first day of competition. On the second day, their opponent will be determined at the event. The Warriors close out The Joust with a meet against Concordia for the second time in the season.
STUNT will travel a bit further for their next tournament at the University of Kentucky. Jessup will meet Davenport University on the first day. Then face off against Missouri State and Maryville University on day two. The team will then meet with the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Kentucky. To begin April, the Warriors will compete in the PacWest Conference competitions from April 2-4th. In one final exhibition meeting, Jessup will meet with UC Davis again at home.
Head Coach Alexis Blunk will be entering her eighth season with the STUNT program. She expresses her anticipation for the upcoming season, "We're extremely excited to release our schedule for the upcoming season. This is the most games we've ever played, and it's certainly one of the toughest lineups we've had." Blunk shares her eagerness to compete at the DI level, "We'll be traveling to a new location— the University of Kentucky — and we're looking forward to seeing a new part of the country and competing against strong Division I programs while we're there. In her final thoughts, she shares her optimism to making it back to nationals, "It's a great mix of competitive opportunities, and we're eager to take on outstanding teams all season long as we work toward earning our way back to Nationals in Nashville this April."
