Jessup Concludes Final Home Contest On Senior Night

The Warriors honored six seniors on senior night; Jessup has two more regular-season games on the road against Point Loma and Westmont

ROCKLIN, Calif. - Horton Court saw the last regular-season home contest for the Warriors in front of a packed and welcoming home crowd. A midweek matchup against Hawaii Hilo was Senior Night, where six graduating Warriors were honored.

The seniors celebrated tonight included Kenzie Carpenter, Julia Olson, Eliana Sheridan, Emma Miller, Natalie Sexauer, and Lauren Toon.

The night ended for the Warriors in a 3-0 loss in favor of the visiting Vulcans. Going into tonight, the Warriors were almost perfect on their home court, finishing 8-2 in home contests. This loss puts the Warriors at 11-11 overall on the season and 5-5 in conference.

The Warriors showed fight in the first set, matching Hilo's high efficiency, but ultimately fell short in a tight 25-22 decision. The second set followed a similar script, with Jessup falling 25-21. The Vulcans' defense proved challenging to penetrate in the third and final frame, as Hilo closed out the match with a 25-17 win.

Sophomore outside hitter Addisen Hamilton led the attack for the Warriors, notching a team-high 11 kills on the night, alongside two block assists. At the net, Lainee McCune contributed offensively and defensively, recording six kills and sharing the team lead with three block assists. Eliana Sheridan and Kemyah Harris also added to the Warriors' attack, posting seven and six kills, respectively.

On the defensive end, libero Lauren Toon was outstanding, anchoring the back row with a match-high 19 digs. Senior setter Kenzie Carpenter facilitated the offense, accumulating 28 assists.

The Warriors still have two contests remaining, both of which are on the road. The Warriors will face Point Loma Nazarene on November 13th and finish the regular season out at Westmont College on November 15th.
