ROCKLIN, Calif. - The Warriors' week started with a Monday afternoon matchup against the Oaks of Menlo at the Wolverine Tennis Complex. However, both teams fell to visiting Menlo College in the PacWest contest.
Both Warriors squads are still searching for their first PacWest conference victory of the season.
This is the third game the women's tennis team played due to cancellations and rainouts earlier in the contest season. The Warriors are still searching for their first win of the year.
The doubles pairings for Jessup's women's team were Nia Macy and Briana Smith, Angel Cody and Sophia Serdichenko, and Olivia Gutierrez and Rylie Maloney as the third and final pairing.
The first duo (Macy and Smith) and second duo (Cody and Serdichenko) managed to scratch a few from Menlo, bothending in scores of 6-3 in favor of the visiting pairs. The pairing of Gutierrez and Maloney lost 6-0 to the Menlo foes.
After doubles and singles play, Menlo was able to walk away with a 4-0 victory over the Warriors.
In the men's match, the doubles pairings included David Perez and Michael Marci getting outscored 6-0. Pairing two included Vadim Francois and Caleb Poling ending in a 6-3 score as well as Henrique Levy and Diego Rodriguez in a final score of 6-4,all matches in favor of the Oaks.
The men will take on Folsom Lake College in a scrimmage tomorrow, while the women will travel to San Rafael to take on Dominican University of California on Thursday, February 20th.
