ROCKLIN, Calif. – The rows of Warrior Arena were filled to the brim on Friday night as Jessup STUNT made their return home after one month without a home date. Taking on the same team Jessup beat in their last home game a month ago, a 14-11 win against Cal Poly capped off a season sweep of head coach Alexis Blunk's alma mater.
 
Jessup is now 3-4 all-time against the Mustangs, and they improve to 5-2 on the 2025 season.
 
The first half was all Jessup, starting with a 3-0 lead for the Warriors in the first quarter. Jessup carried the momentum into the second, scoring on all four routines, with two seeing the Mustangs also score to send the game to halftime at 7-2.
 
Jumps and tumbling, however, was the Mustangs' time to show. After back-to-back points to open the quarter, Jessup called timeout and regrouped with routine eight. The Warriors scored to end the Cal Poly run, but back came the Mustangs with a point on routine one to send the game into the fourth with Jessup leading 8-5.
 
Routine eight was an area the Warriors continuously went to, as Jessup called eight in three of the four quarters, scoring in two.
 
After Jessup took four points compared to three to start the first two routines of the fourth quarter, the Warriors once again looked to eight, this time to wrap up the match. Needing two points to guarantee the win, Jessup did just that to pull ahead 14-8.
 
Cal Poly ended the game, scoring all three points of the final routine.
 
The Warriors will be back in action tomorrow when they take on Sonoma State. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tickets are on sale HERE.
