NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jessup University STUNT team competed in day three of the Division II National Championship tournament on Saturday evening, falling 35-34 in an overtime matchup against Oklahoma Baptist University.

Jessup built an early advantage in the first half of the contest, outscoring the Bison 11-9 before the break. Oklahoma Baptist responded in the third quarter, taking the frame 4-3 to narrow Jessup's lead to a single point at 14-13.

In a high-scoring fourth quarter, Oklahoma Baptist put up 14 points to Jessup's 13, tying the game at 27-27 at the end of regulation. The game proceeded to an overtime period, where the Bison secured an 8-7 scoring edge to finalize the 35-34 result.

Jessup looks to bounce back tomorrow morning as the team faces off against Davenport University for the second time this tournament. The game will start at 8:00 AM (PST) from Nashville.
