LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Day two ends in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the competition continues for the PacWest Golf Championships. After round two, both the men's and women's teams sit in fifth place on the team leaderboard with one day remaining in the PacWest Championships.
Michael Sorber leads the men's side, currently sitting in fourth place, and
Jessica Burdick leads the women, who are currently sitting seventh overall.
Michael Sorber leads the way for the Warriors, currently sitting in fourth place overall. On day one of the tournament, Sorber shot even, and today, he improved by four strokes, finishing four under on the day and four under overall after two days of competition. He finds himself five places higher in the standings from round one.
The other Warriors competing for the men include
Braden Armstrong (T25),
Jerah Venkaiya (T28),
Paolo Castaneda (31), Nicholas Schutz (T34), and
Trevor Halloran (T46).
Jessica Burdick finds herself four places higher on the leaderboard, improving by four strikes in round two. She is currently in seventh place overall, with one day remaining in the conference championships.
Of the ten teams competing, the men's team is currently sitting fifth overall on the team leaderboard. The women's team also occupies fifth place on the team leaderboard of the nine women's teams competing.
