Warriors Fall to Fresno Pacific in PacWest Matchup

Women's Tennis will take on Stanislaus State tomorrow to conclude the weekend

FRESNO, Calif. - The Warriors traveled to Fresno Pacific University for a PacWest matchup on Friday. The men's team lost 7-0, and the women fell 6-1. 

Doubles play included Tanner Sitanggang and Michael Marci, who lost by a final score of 6-1. The second doubles pairing was Vadim Francois and Caleb Poling. Diego Rodriguez and Clark Chen were the final pairing for the Warriors, who were able to scratch two sets by a final score of 6-2. 

Tanner Sitanggang's matches ended in close scores of 3-6 and 5-7 in his singles play matchups, unfortunately falling to FPU opponent. 

The women's doubles pairings included Nia Macay and Briana Smith. The second duo was Cody Angel and Rylie Maloney, who made it close in a final set match of 3-6. The final duo was Olivia Gutierrez and Antonella Cardenas, who scored the closest score of the day in a competitive loss of 6-7. 

The women's team will continue to play this weekend with a matchup against Stanislaus State tomorrow at 2:00 PM on home turf at the Wolverine Tennis Complex. The Men's team is set to take on Menlo College in Atherton on April 12th to conclude the 2025 season.
