ROCKLIN, Calif. — The Jessup University Women's Soccer team fought a staunch defensive battle at Warrior Field on Thursday, September 25, 2025, securing a 0-0 draw against Hawai'i Pacific University. The result earns the Warriors their first point in Pacific West Conference (PacWest) play for the season, bringing their overall record to 1-4-1 (0-0-1 PacWest).
The game was a story of two strong defensive units and excellent goalkeeping on both sides of the pitch, with both teams playing 90 minutes of scoreless soccer.
Jessup Goalkeeper
Karlee Lywandowsky was a force in net for the Warriors, recording three saves to notch her first shutout of the 2025 campaign. The Warriors' defense held the Sharks' offense, allowing only three shots on goal for the match.
Offensively, Jessup pressed hard for the game-winner, outshooting Hawai'i Pacific 11-8 and holding a decisive 7-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Jessup attack put pressure on HPU's goalkeeper, Skylar Jacobsen, who was forced to make six saves on the afternoon. Midfielder
