DALLAS, Texas – The Texas road trip continued for the Warriors today as they faced off against Oklahoma Baptist University and Dallas Baptist University. Jessup suffered its first setback of the season against Oklahoma Baptist, falling 29-22, before bouncing back to take game two against DBU, 31-20.

The Warriors now move to 4-1 on the season.

Game one against Oklahoma Baptist University was a neck-and-neck matchup from the start. The Bison outscored the Warriors in the first three rounds of quarter one, but Jessup responded quickly, outscoring the Bison in the final four rounds of the opening frame.

Despite the back-and-forth battle, Oklahoma Baptist ultimately pulled ahead to hand Jessup its first loss of the season with a final score of 29-22.

The Warriors showed their resilience in the second game of the day against Dallas Baptist University. Facing another competitive squad, Jessup maintained the upper hand throughout the matchup. The Warriors secured the victory 31-20, ensuring a split for the day's competition.

Jessup will conclude its Texas road stint tomorrow, taking on the University of Texas and Oklahoma State.
