LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Warriors concluded their Kentucky road trip by splitting their final day of play against high-level competition. Jessup secured a commanding 26-5 victory over the University of Arkansas but fell just short against the University of Kentucky in a 29-27 nail-biter.

In the opening game of the day, Jessup faced off against the University of Arkansas Bears for the first time in program history. The Warriors looked fresh and dominant from the start, controlling the pace to earn a decisive 26-5 win.

The second matchup was a back-and-forth battle against the UK Wildcats. Jessup jumped out to an early lead, outscoring the Cats 6-4 in the opening quarter. While Kentucky narrowed the gap by outscoring the Warriors 5-4 in the second, Jessup maintained the lead heading into halftime.

The intensity ramped up in the second half. By the end of the third quarter, both squads were deadlocked, setting the stage for a dramatic finish. In a high-scoring final frame, Kentucky managed to outpace Jessup 15-13, clinching a narrow two-point victory.

After a highly successful weekend for the Warriors, Jessup now returns home to host UC Davis on April 10th at 7:00 PM.
