ROCKLIN, Calif. – Jessup STUNT put on a clinic on Friday, sweeping a double-header with resounding victories over Concordia University Irvine 31-8 and Vanguard University 22-4.
Game One: Jessup 31, Concordia Irvine 8
From the opening whistle, the Warriors established their presence on the mat. Jessup came out firing in Quarter 1, seamlessly executing high-level routines to quickly take control of the scoreboard. The momentum only snowballed in Quarter 2, where the Warriors showcased their synchronized timing and elite technique, dropping very few points and building a commanding lead heading into halftime.
Coming out of the break, Jessup didn't miss a beat in Quarter 3, sticking their passes and out-executing CUI to expand the gap. By the time Quarter 4 rolled around, the Warriors were firing on all cylinders. They capitalized on the multi-point rounds, consistently winning the routine execution to close out a massive 31-8 victory.
Game Two: Jessup 22, Vanguard 4
Riding high off their afternoon victory, the Warriors carried that same razor-sharp focus into their afternoon matchup against Vanguard.
The Warriors swept through the early rounds of Partner Stunts and Pyramids & Tosses. Vanguard struggled to match the difficulty and precision of Jessup's routines, managing only four points on the day. The Warriors closed out the final frame with the same high-energy Team Routine execution that has become their signature this season, finalizing a dominant 22-4 win.
Speaking on the team's exceptional performance, Head Coach Alexis Blunk noted the collective drive of the roster, "Proud of this group today. Two big conference wins and it came down to focus, effort, and trusting each other. The girls competed from start to finish and showed the kind of toughness we've been building all season."
Jessup will look to carry this momentum into their next matchup on Friday at noon when they compete against the University of Kentucky on the final day of the Jessup STUNT Tournament.
