NASHVILLE, Tennessee - The three time National champions made a definitive statement at the STUNT National Championships in Nashville, kicking off their quest for another title with a commanding 19-5 victory over Purdue University Northwest. 

Head coach Alexis Blunk praised her team's high energy displayed on the floor, "Great start to Nationals with a big Game 1 win. I'm really proud of how the team came out focused, confident, and ready to compete. The energy was exactly what we've been working toward all season, and it showed in our performance." 

The Warriors established dominance early by shutting out the Pride in the first two quarters, heading into halftime with a 7-0 lead after flawless performances in Partner Stunts and Pyramids. 

While Purdue Northwest managed to find the scoreboard during the Jumps and Tumbling round, Jessup remained relentless, outscoring them 8-4 in the third quarter alone. A final 4-1 push in the Team Routine quarter sealed the win 19-5 and provided the Warriors with significant momentum heading into the rest of the tournament.

Coach Blunk continued, "I'm really excited about the momentum we're carrying into Day 2. Now it's about staying consistent, trusting our training, and continuing to put out routines we can truly be proud of all weekend."

The Warriors will carry the momentum into game two tomorrow as they prepare for a matchup with Davenport, scheduled for a 6:15 PST start time.
