NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Warriors continued their successful run in Nashville, Tennessee, with the hopes of another National Championship in sight. Jessup beat Davenport Friday night, defeating the Panthers in a competitive matchup, 32–25.
Coming off a win against PNW on opening day, Jessup carried that momentum into day two of the competition. With this victory, the Warriors improve to 25–3 overall for the 2026 season.
Jessup started strong in a tight first quarter, leading 7–4. While the Panthers matched their scoring output with four points in the second quarter, Jessup extended their lead by netting eight points to Davenport's four.
After halftime, Davenport caught a second wind, outscoring Jessup 6–3 in the third quarter. Heading into the final frame with only a four-point lead, the Warriors knew they had to be clinical. As the three-time reigning National Champions, Jessup did exactly that. The Warriors outpaced the competitive Davenport squad 14–11 in the fourth to secure the 32–25 win.
Jessup will take on Oklahoma Baptist tomorrow in their third game of the tournament, scheduled for a 6:00 PM start time.
