Jessup Sweeps Menlo in Dominant Road Performance

ATHERTON, CA — Jessup delivered a dominant road performance on Saturday night, securing a straight-sets victory over Menlo College with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 27-25. This win comes on the heels of a massive home victory just the night before, when Jessup hosted and swept the Oaks at Warrior Arena.

The Warriors' offense was the story of the match, opening the contest with a blistering performance at the net in the first set. The attack was led by Jonas Mueller, who tallied a match-high 12 kills on the night. Jacob Knudsen followed closely with 9 kills and a service ace, while Jan Lopuch contributed 7 kills of his own.

Orchestrating the offense was setter Colin Marks, who recorded 33 assists and kept the Menlo defense off-balance. Jessup also found success from the service line, receiving an ace each from Knudsen, Owen Henning, and Rayphe Froese to supplement the scoring.

Defensively, the Warriors were a force at the net, out-blocking Menlo 10–6. Colin Marks led the defensive effort with four total blocks, while Clement Osahon Jr. and Owen Henning each added three blocks to the tally. In the back row, Jan Lopuch and Jacob Knudsen stabilized the defense with five digs apiece. This defensive pressure was particularly evident in the second set, where Menlo was restricted to just 16 points.

The final set proved to be the most competitive, featuring 10 ties as Menlo fought to extend the match. Despite the pressure, Jessup remained composed during the extra-point battle. After Menlo forced a 25-25 tie, the Warriors capitalized on back-to-back attack errors by the Oaks to claim the 27-25 win and seal the sweep.

The Warriors will now hit the road to Southern California to take on Concordia Irvine on April 9th and 10th at CU Arena.
