"I was proud of how our group competed in the first two sets, and we had our chances to close them out," head coach Taylor Jacky said. "We didn't finish the way we wanted, and we have to be cleaner with our serve receive and our hitting errors. Mia was terrific tonight, and we're going to keep building on that as we get back to work this week."
Jessup stays home for its next two matches in Warrior Arena. The Warriors host Concordia on Sept. 25 at 5:00 p.m. and Point Loma on Sept. 26 at 1:00 p.m. Jessup then returns home Oct. 20 at 6:00 p.m. against Hawaii Pacific after a trip to Hawaii.
