Prior to Jessup: Nikita attended Hercules High School in the United States and High School ¹ 1 Novyy Urengoy in Russia. He then attended Contra Costa College where he made the Deans List every semester he attended. He also received the Students Athlete Academic Award in both seasons. He led his team to 4^th place in State.

Personal: Nikita is the son of Svetlana and Ivan Evdokimov and has a United States mom named Rorrie Tiniakoff. He has one brother named Taras Evdokimov. When asked why he chose William Jessup, Nikita said "because Jessup will provide me the opportunity to grow stronger spiritually, academically, and athletically. Also the coaching staff is just awesome and basketball program has had a lot of success. In addition, the small class sizes will help me to build great relationships with my professors and excel in the classroom."
