Entering his second year on the baseball coaching staff, McGhee serves as an assistant coach over pitching and strength and conditioning.
A longtime local, McGhee attended American River College before transferring to San Francisco State to earn his Bachelors in Physical Education while playing baseball and earning All Far-Western Conference first team honors in Gator uniform.
His coaching resume branches overall levels with time spent at Jesuit, Oak Ridge, and Granite Bay High School, while also having served a pair of stints at Sacramento State as the assistant coach and later director of player development.
While coaching, McGhee has also been the baseball coordinator at Results Physical Therapy and Training Center since 2008.
McGhee said he’s extremely thankful for the opportunity to coach Jessup baseball and help them reach their ultimate goals.
“I am very thankful that Jake McKinley (former WJU baseball coach) has given me the opportunity to teach young men the wonderful game of Baseball. I now have a responsibility to passionately embrace the process of moving William Jessup Athletics forward as a Nationally respected Program and University.” McGhee said.
