Entering his second year at Jessup, Riley Drogensen will be the catchers coach for the baseball team.
Drogesen was previously the pitching coach at Yakima Valley College for one season in 2018 helping lead them to a second place finish in conference and a No. 17 national ranking to end the year.
Drogensen gained valuable knowledge of local recruiting during his time in 2017 when he coached at Whitney High. During both the 2017 and 2018 seasons he also coached the Wenatchee AppleSox summer league team. Hailing from Granite Bay, Calif.
Drogesen currently resides in Roseville with his Fiance Sarah. He enjoys playing golf and hiking in his spare time.
When asked why he came to Jessup Drogensen said, “The amazing culture here and the opportunity to help young men take steps forward during their time in college both on and off the field.”
Drogesen’s ultimate goal is to help each of his players build a skillset, to develop mental toughness, and make them better citizens.
