Paul Benvenuti

Benvenuti is back for his third season as the lead assistant for the men’s soccer program. With over 15 years of experience, Benvenuti has a variety of levels of coaching on his resume since 2003.

Benvenuti has been the varsity boys coach at Antelope HS since 2017, coached the Capital Valley United Soccer Club team for nine seasons (2009-2018) and continues to coach club soccer for Placer United starting in 2019.

Benvenuti was named Youth Soccer Coach of the Year under Capital Valley (CV) in 2018, he also led Antelope HS to a CIF Division 3 Title in 2017-18 and made a NorCal State Semi-Finals appearance in 2017 with CV United.

At Jessup Benvenuti has helped produce two All-GSAC players as well as earning the Warrior’s first postseason appearance in the 2018 season. Benvenuti is originally from Sacramento but resides in Antelope with his wife Janelle and children, Benvenuti’s oldest son Noah has played for the Warriors since 2017.

When asked why he’s continued to work here at Jessup Benvenuti said, “This school gives student-athletes the opportunity to train, learn and work in an environment of faith, love, and honor. After coaching for nearly 20 years, I haven’t found another environment that provides more compassion for student-athletes. The constant love and support here is second to none.”
