Megan Kritscher is in her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Jessup Women’s Basketball program.
Beginning her coaching career in 2016, Kritscher has worked for various programs over the past five seasons.
As a player, Kritscher played five years of professional basketball overseas in both Europe and Australia from 2013 – 2018. While in Australia, Kritscher began her coaching career at the high school level, leading her team to an undefeated season and a league championship in her first year.
At the collegiate level, Kritscher played collegiate basketball at the NCAA Division I level at nearby Sacramento State University. With the Hornets, Kritscher set a new school and Big Sky Conference record with 111 blocks in her senior season.
Before Sacramento State, Kritscher attended UC Santa Barbara. Kritscher attended Pioneer High School in Woodland, CA, where she was named the Tri-County League MVP.
Kritscher graduated from Sacramento State in 2013, earning her degree in Communication Studies.
“This program is already elevating to new levels,” says Kritscher. “I’m excited to join and help that trend continue by contributing what I’ve learned through my experiences as a player and coach.”
