Holm is entering his second year at the helm for the Jessup women’s tennis program. With a great wealth of knowledge in the Sacramento area, Holm has spent much of the last 11 years coaching high school tennis at nearby Whitney High School in Lincoln.
At Whitney High School, Holm was the head coach for boys tennis from 2010 to 2017, and also coached the girl's team from 2012 to 2018. His best season came in 2014 when he helped lead the Wildcats to an undefeated league title and also went to the San Joaquin Section Finals.
Holm earned a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before getting his masters from SLO as well. Holm was also a standout basketball player in high school before playing junior college ball as a guard at Cuesta College for two seasons.
Holm says his ultimate goals for the tennis program are to win a conference title and make the NAIA national tournament.
When asked why he chose to come to Jessup Holm said, “A chance to work at the NAIA level and influence young lives through the sport of tennis.”
Holm currently lives here in Rocklin with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, woodworking, and hiking.
