Jessup Athletics formally welcomed Scott Sorgea to the team as Assistant Athletic Director in February of 2021 and his duties grew into an Associate Athletic Director in May of 2025. Sorgea comes to Jessup with decades of experience in athletic administration at the high school level.

"Jessup is a world-class institution, and I am thrilled to become part of the Warrior family," said Sorgea. "From the moment I stepped on campus, I experienced the culture that makes Jessup so special. I look forward to partnering with our outstanding coaches and staff to provide all student-athletes a well-rounded, Christ-centered, intercollegiate athletic experience."

Sorgea’s main tasks with Jessup Athletics include both external and internal operations. Externally, Sorgea works hand-in-hand with several of Jessup’s corporate partners. His duties included administrative oversight of the athletics department and alumni relations. Sorgea served a previous tenure with Capital Christian between 2000 – 2008 as the school's Athletic Director.

With Capital Christian, Sorgea also coached several varsity teams.
