Warriors Reign Over Royals, 4-2

ROCKLIN, Calif. - Weather conditions and no chance of postseason play didn't keep the Warriors from tearing up the field against nationally ranked Hope International in a 4-2 win to put an end to their four game skid.
Jessup came out strong as ten seniors looked to finish their season and final two games strong on their home field.
Striking first just fifteen minutes into the game was senior Justin Soria (Rocklin, Calif.) who had a one versus one opportunity scoring just his second goal of the season to put the Warriors up first 1-0.
Jessup would hold that lead finishing the first half outshooting the Royals 8-2. Weather proving not to be a factor the northern boys stayed aggressive and used it to their advantage.
Heading into the final half and less than ten minutes off the clock, Omar Magana (Sacramento, Calif.) found the back of the net off a banger from the far right corner just over the goalies reach.
Less than two minutes later teammate Jacob Rodriguez took a penalty kick to take a 3-0 lead, the largest lead a team has had on the ranked Royals all season.
But the Warriors didn't stop there as Magana would strike again in the 70th minute off a flick from Adolfo Guzman, courtesy of Michael Mazzoni's chip.
Hope would put up two late goals in the 76th minute and 88th minute but not enough as the Warriors took home the win 4-2 win.
The Warriors will finish the season at home on Saturday as we will recognize the 10 seniors prior to play against Biola University at 12:00pm.
