Rona Chavez would spark the Warriors into a 7-0 run to end the opening quarter up 14-13.
San Diego would not go silent as they finished the second quarter outscoring the Warriors 14-6. The Hawks would regain the lead early in the early in the quarter after tying it up 16-16 just a minute in.

Determined to finish strong, the Warriors did just that jumping out into the third quarter taking the lead on scoring 19 to their 14 points. With the final quarter ahead of them the Warriors cut the Hawks lead to two (39-41) with plenty of time to finish on top.
Teams would exchange baskets through the final quarter as the Hawks led by as much as 9 points with just three minutes in. Iosia would sink to layups to gain momentum, followed by a pair of buckets in the paint for
Ashlyn Jones to cut the lead to 5 with just 4 minutes remaining.

Sara Vasquez would nail a three-pointer with 16 seconds remaining and answer again from behind the arc with one second left, but not enough to take the win.
Ashlyn Jones collected her fourth double-double this season leading all scorers with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
The Warriors will travel to Arizona Christian on Saturday to take on the Firestorms who are 3-3 in GSAC contests at 1p.m. PT.
