ROCKLIN, Calif. - After riding a three game win streak, the Warriors lost in straight sets to Arizona Christian University on Thursday night. The Firestorm came out red hot in set one, holding Jessup to a mere 11 points. The Warriors battled back in set two but came up short losing 25-14. In the game's final set it appeared the Warriors were poised for a victory, but it slipped away as they lost 25-22.
For the Warriors it was
Taylor Jacky leading in kills with 12, while
Sydney Molander finished with 9. Once again
Jessica Williams tallied the most assists with 31 on the night and
Kacey Berger had a team high 16 digs.
Thursday's matchup against the Firestorm was the first of what will be three consecutive road games for the Warriors. The road trip will continue as the Warriors prepare to take on San Diego Christian University Saturday afternoon at 2:30 PM.
