SAN DIEGO, Calif. - On the second game of a long road trip, the Lady Warriors lost a hard-fought battle in five sets to the San Diego Christian Hawks. The Warriors jumped out to a quick lead in the match nabbing each the opening two sets, 25-21. However, the Hawks came surging back as they won the final three sets, 28-26, 25-19, 15-12, to win the match.

The Warriors were led by
Sydney Molander in kills as she racked up 15, and close behind
Vendela Williams and
Danielle Schoen each tacked on 11 more.
Kacey Berger,
Alicia Borges, and
Audrey Vaughan all had solid performances serving the ball as each finished with two aces.

It was
Kassidy Heuvelhorst leading the block party with 7, and
Jessica Williams dishing out the most assists on the night with a whopping 50. Williams wasn't stopping there as she also led the team in digs with 15, while Berger closed out the night with 14 and Schoen with 9.

After a long road trip, the Warriors will continue to be battle-tested as they journey to the beautiful Napa Valley to take on the Pacific Union College Pioneers on Tuesday, October 24 at 6 PM. Â
