ROCKLIN, Calif. - In front of one of the largest crowds of the season, the Warriors closed out their home season recognizing eight seniors for their hard work and dedication to the program in their time on Jessup Field. Taking on The Master's, the Warriors knew it would be a tough match since the last meeting both teams pushed it into overtime, but the Mustangs prevailed with a 1-0 victory.

Constantini was proud of her Warriors' performance on the pitch and the seniors final outing at home, "We played one of our best games today, our seniors came out and started the game off strong. We had a plan, executed it well but fell short in putting the ball away. As hard as it to walk off the field with a loss on Senior Day, the girls gave everything they had. "

The Warriors and Mustangs we locked after the first 45 minutes of play, Masters holding the slight advantage in shots category, leading 6-4, but Camille Cavey brought down three saves to keep it scoreless into the second half.

The single goal would come in the 55th minutes as the Mustangs would carry it through the rest of regulation for the win.

Eight seniors were recognized this afternoon and all eight starting and finishing on the pitch together. Four-year veterans Marissa Sanders, Kailee Soares and Nikki Perales are joined by three-year Warriors, Rebecca Garcia and Hannah Lettington, finishing up with two-year transfers, Vanessa Villanueva, Maria Chacon and Mikayla English

"This is an exceptional class of women, they are warriors on and off the field. It is a priority of this program to produce great soccer players, but more importantly to develop people who will go out into the world and make a positive impact on society," Constantini reflected. "I can say, with complete confidence, that these seniors will do just that. We are so proud to call them alumni of the William Jessup Women's Soccer program."

The Warriors will close out the regular season next Saturday on the road against Northern California rival Menlo College at 1:30 pm.
