ROCKLIN, Calif. - The Warriors returned home after four games and over two weeks on the road to host their first conference matchup with Arizona Christian. Scoring back-to-back goals in the first half, the Warriors led 2-1 but a late pair of goals for the Firestorm gave them their first GSAC victory, 3-2. 

The visiting Firestorm would strike first in the 6th minute taking on starting goalie Camille Cavey one-on-one to find the back of the net for the 1-0 advantage. But it didn't take long for the Warriors to strike back with a corner kick delivered by Kailee Soares and Rebecca Garcia making her first connection of the year for the equalizer in the 14th minute.

Doing what she does best, Soares sent one from the corner a second time in the 20th minute to make a connection with senior captain Marissa Sanders who flicked it to Janelle Schuette for her first goal of the season and the 2-1 lead over Arizona Christian.

A pair of goals would come in the second half to even it up 2-2 in the 61st minute and then the go-ahead in the 78th to take it 3-2.

Defending the posts for the Warriors was Camille Cavey with a pair of saves.

The Warriors will return back home Saturday to host San Diego Christian at 11 am for the Andrew Rundle Memorial game.
