ROCKLIN, Calif. - The Jessup baseball team will be hosting their 2nd Annual First Pitch Dinner in the new year on January 19th to kick-off the 2019 campaign that is slated to start January 25th.

After a record-setting season, the Warriors are excited to get back in action this coming year to continue their success and the relationships that are built as a team. At this dinner, you will get an inside look at who those players and coaches are and the culture they have all grown to be a part of.

"The First Pitch Dinner is an awesome way to kick off the season," head coach in his second season, Jake McKinley said. "Not only does it support a great cause, but it spotlights our players for all their hard work and dedication."

Just days before the first pitch of the season, the Warriors invite supporters of the program to join them at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner, player introductions, a speaker and dessert all starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $50 per person or, you can sponsor a table of 8 for $350.

This year the Warriors welcome former San Francisco Giants' first baseman for nine of this 13 years in the MLB, JT Snow and former right-handed catcher and 10-year MLB veteran Matt Walbeck. 

Coach McKinley looks forward to the hearing stories from both guest speakers, "Having guys like JT Snow and Matt Walbeck are huge for our program. Not only are they very successful Major Leaguers, but they are also great people. I have no question the audience will enjoy their stories and perspectives."

The fun-filled evening will also include a silent auction, raffle, and live auction items where all proceeds benefit the baseball program. With an anticipated 300 guests, seating is limited so make sure you reserve your spot today for an evening full of good company!
