ATHERTON, Calif— The William Jessup men's soccer team traveled to the Bay Area as they took on the Menlo College Oaks, losing 6-0. The loss puts the Warriors record at 4-9-2 with two games remaining on their schedule. 
 
Immediately as the first half began, the Warriors defense was quickly tested as goalkeeper Robert Sams made several early saves. Despite the strong effort from Sams, the onslaught of the Oaks offense proved too much with Jessup allowing a goal in the 12^thminute. 
 
In the 40^thminute, the Warriors were able to get their first shot but the ball sailed high off the foot of Tanner Federico. As the half continued, the Warriors were unable to generate offensive production with their opponent scoring two more goals to close out the first half of play.
 
The second half barred similarity to the first, as the Warriors offensive attacks were continually halted. Jessup would end the contest with six total shots and two of those were on goal to their opponents 18 shots and 11 of those were on frame. The Warriors ended up losing the match, 6-0. 
 
The Warriors return home on Saturday, October 26 for Senior Day in a matchup against Hope International University.
