Winning the game puts the Warriors record at 7-8 overall and 4-4 in the GSAC, which has tied the programs most wins in conference play.
After a wave of early lead changes and several ties in the first set, the Warriors would rattle off seven unanswered points taking a 15-8 lead. The lengthy run would help propel Jessup to a huge first set win, 25-18 as they had momentum going into the second set.
The Warriors started off set two well but the Mustangs weren't going away quietly, as the set was tied mid-way through, 14-14. Down the stretch, Jessup was primed to win as they led 23-20. However, after a late surge from the Mustangs, the Warriors were down 23-24. The set was tied two more times but the Warriors ultimately prevailed as they snagged the last two points to win 27-25 in extra points.

With the score tied at 16-16, the Warriors caught fire in the waning moments as they led it 21-16 in the blink of an eye. Despite the lead, it was the Mustangs who rallied back tying the match, 22-22. The Warriors' focus on winning was still noticeable and they would score three of the sets final four points to end the match, 25-23.
