Warriors Return Home to Host a Pair of Matchups

ROSEVILLE, Calif. - The Warriors started the weekend off hosting No.14 Westmont College on Friday followed by another conference matchup on Saturday against Marymount California.

Starting the week off in a Warrior's duel, Westmont went home with the 0-9 advantage as not one doubles pair was able to win a game against the visiting Warriors, but Abriana Rowe and Stephanie Alsman did win one game in their singles matchups on courts two and three.

Against Marymount on Saturday, the Warriors fell 4-5 as the Warriors won their first doubles match by default, as well as a singles match up due to lack of players on the visiting side.

In the individual matchups, Rowe led the warriors falling in the first set (2-6) but bouncing back to take the second (6-3) and final set, 10-3 for her second singles match win of the season.  Also bringing in another point on the singles was Melisa Hansen on court four who took set one 6-1 and closed out the victory 6-2 to win the game.

The Warriors will return to home court at Lifetime Fitness in Roseville next Friday and Saturday to take on San Diego Christian and Hope International.
