ROSEVILLE, Calif. – The Warriors were back on the courts of Lifetime Fitness on Friday, taking on Stanislaus State. The visitors of Stanislaus swept the day 6-0, as the Warriors drop to 0-5 on the season.
 
It was the final match of the non-conference preseason for the Warriors as they start the GSAC season next week against Westmont College. That match is scheduled for February 26.
 
In doubles play, the number one match saw McKenzie Hawkins team up with Nicollet Alexander. The duo fought but lost their bout 6-4. Aysha Hayes teamed up with Sydney Page in the second doubles contest, and the two fell 6-2.
 
Stanislaus State took the one point awarded in doubles play.
 
After dropping the first set of her singles match 6-1, Hayes battled back before losing the second set 7-6. Alexander lost her match 6-2, 6-2. Hawkins fell in singles play 6-2, 6-3. Page dropped her match 6-1, 6-1.
 
Also competing in singles play was Danielle Akabane. Akabane dropped the first set 6-1 and battled back in the second but lost 6-4.
 
Tomorrow the men's tennis program will be on the court at 3 p.m. when they visit UC Davis.
