ROSEVILLE, Calif. – The conference season has begun for Jessup's newest sport. Taking on the Warriors of Westmont College, the men's and women's tennis programs suffered two 7-0 defeats to start GSAC play.
Men's play was highlighted by a win in doubles competition from
Sam Smith and
Jordan Lenney. The two won their match 6-4. Even though Jessup got a win in doubles play, Westmont still took the point.
Competing today for the Jessup men alongside Smith and Lenney were
Noah Moeckelmann and

Over to the women's match,
Aysha Hayes and
Nicollet Alexander teamed up in doubles play. The combo fought hard before losing 6-3.
Sydney Page and
Danielle Akabane lost in their doubles match 6-0.

Jessup Tennis gets back on the court next week as they visit Thousand Oaks to take on California Lutheran on March 2.
