OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Warriors put their talents on display halfway across the country Friday, taking the mat twice in Oklahoma City. With games against Missouri Baptist and Oklahoma City on the schedule, Jessup continues to impress within the STUNT community, winning both contests in a Friday sweep.
Friday's action began with the Warriors earning a big 19-6 victory over Missouri Baptist. Jessup came out red hot, scoring four points in the opening quarter to take a quick 4-0 lead through four routines.
Again, the Warriors swept quarter two, taking all eight points awarded through two-quarters of play.
Missouri Baptist finally got on the board in the third as they tied each of the first three routines called. Quarter four saw the Warriors put an additional seven points on the board as they started the day with a key win.
Game two saw the Warriors square off with Oklahoma City University, and again it was a hot start for Jessup. The Warriors outscored OKC 3-0 to start the match after taking points in routines one, five, and four.
Jessup got four points to OKC's one in the second quarter, followed by a 3-1 advantage in quarter three.
The Warriors continued their dominant performance into the fourth, putting seven points on the board yet again to end the night. It was enough to secure a second victory on the day, this time by the final of 17-5.
Jessup will be back in action on Saturday as they take on Texas Woman's College in Oklahoma City at 10:30 a.m. (PT).
