OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – STUNT was back in action on Saturday, taking on Texas Woman's College in the finale of their three-game trip to Oklahoma City. The Warriors continued their winning ways from Friday, earning an 18-4 victory to end the weekend.
The Warriors had several new players step in to help to the win. Due to injuries, two new Warriors stepped in to the tumbling routines in quarter three. Jessup also had newcomers help score points in the final quarter.
Jessup jumped out fast to a first quarter sweep, scoring all four points to take an early 4-0 lead. The Warriors took three more points in the second quarter, scoring in routines two, four, and one. No points were awarded for routine six.
TWC got on the board in the third quarter with points in the first two routines called. A tie in the third routine got the Warriors back on the board. At the end of three quarters, Jessup led 9-3.
Jessup scored nine of a possible nine points in the final quarter as they pushed their score up to 18.
With the win, Jessup moves to 6-3 on the season.
The Warriors will be back in action on April 1 as the UC Davis Aggies come to Warrior Arena. It's the start of four home games to end the season.
