SANTEE, Calif. – Jessup Tennis was in action on Saturday, taking the courts in San Diego for a GSAC bout with the Hawks of San Diego Christian. Jessup dropped both match 4-0 as they continue their season.
In women's action, singles play saw the matches of
Nicollet Alexander and
Danielle Akabane go unfinished.
Aysha Hayes (1-6, 1-6),
McKenzie Hawkins (2-6, 1-6), and Syndey Page (0-6, 1-6) all lost their singles matches.
Hayes teamed up with Alexander in the one position for doubles action. The duo's match went unfinished. Page teamed up with
Juliette Caughey in a 1-6 loss. Hawkins and Akabane (2-6) also dropped their bout.
In the men's contest,
Sam Smith teamed up with
Jordan Lenney in doubles play. They did not finish their match. Aiden Sauer and
Noah Moeckelmann lost their contest 0-6.
Smith, Mockelmann, and Lenney were unable to finish their singles matches. Sauer lost his match in two sets (0-6, 1-6).
The Warriors will be back in action on March 25 as Arizona Christian University comes to Lifetime Fitness in Roseville.
