ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Jessup Tennis took the court for the final time in the 2022 regular season. With Mills College in town, the Warriors took to the clay courts of Lifetime Fitness as they end their regular season with a 5-0 victory.
The Warriors close out the regular season 3-15 overall. In just their fourth season, it is the most single-season wins in program history.
Nicollet Alexander saw action in the one position for the first time, and she made the most of it, winning her match 6-0.
Danielle Akabane,
Sydney Page, and
Juliette Caughey all recorded 6-0 wins in singles play as well.
Akabane teamed up with
McKenzie Hawkins in doubles action. The duo won 6-0. Caughey and Page picked up a 6-0 win in their match.
Next on the schedule for the Warriors is the GSAC Tournament. Action begins on Monday from Surprise, Ariz.
